My boyfriend and I are getting our first apartment.
We were thinking bright colors for the restroom.
A coffee themed kitchen.

If the apt. is small, dark colors will close it in and make it look smaller. It's always nice to pick an accent wall in each room. and do it a shade different than the other walls. Another great way to paint an area is to get 2 gallons of paint in the same color but one is flat and one can is gloss and tape off the wall vertically so that when you paint it is a very suttle strip because of the difference in finish. Its very classy. Light blues, yellows, and cocoa's look fab with that technique.
